Setup Octopus for phone ~ Authentication for District Access

1. Request an invitation from the Technology office via our ticket system, by submitting an email to support@npsd.org.
2. You must have a strong Cellular/WI-FI connection
3. Go to the app store on your cell phone and download the Octopus Authenticator app as shown above.
4. Use the email invitation to add the account. Follow directions listed in email.

Optional: Setup District Email on your Phone:

1. You must have a strong Cellular/WI-FI connection
2. Download the Gmail app on your phone.
3. Open the Gmail app and select add account, select Google, then sign-in with your NPSD email address and then click on Accept.
4. When the G Suite login appears, type your first initial and then last name with no spaces. 
   1. On an iPhone select Octopus to authenticate.
   2. On an android phone it will ask for a password.  Type any random characters and click login.
5. You should then get an alert on your phone to approve log in.
6. Gmail should then log in.
   1. On an iPhone in the Octopus App after authenticating you may have to click on the arrow in the upper left hand corner next to Gmail after 60 seconds.
